| Personal Bio | I was born in Kenya, but have lived in North Area for more than 40 years. I am married, with two children at university. As a family we follow a vegan diet. I have previously served on the North Area committee, youth sub-committee and Oshwal Yuvak Sangh between 1986 and 1994. More recently, I was Youth Chair from 2018 to 2022.I enjoy walking, badminton and running. |
| Vision for Oshwal | I wish all Oshwals would recognise that we are very fortunate to have such a wonderful community. All Oshwals, over the age of 16, should become members. We are all busy, but I wish more members would get involved to help run OAUK and its many activities. Parents should encourage children to attend both their local Gujarati School and Youth Club. This will help to keep our language & culture alive, promote wellbeing and social interaction with others from our community. |
