The coronavirus outbreak is the greatest global health emergency in living memory. It is affecting the way we all go about our daily lives.
In these uncertain times, small acts of kindness can make a huge difference.
We are all aware of the exceptional level of work being done by the doctors, nurses and all other frontline NHS staff in dealing with the unprecedented challenges they face during their long and tiring shifts.
It is now our turn to appreciate their selfless and untiring efforts by providing them (in accordance with our Jain principles of Jivdaya and Anukampa) with some much needed nourishment to keep them going on.
OAUK has partnered with Dips Foods and DNS Accountants to provide free hot meals and/or snacks to the doctors, nurses and all other frontline NHS workers at the local hospitals.
In addition, we have nearly 200 incredible Oshwal volunteers who have come forward to help elderly and vulnerable members of our community in these uncertain times. These volunteers help make friendly phone calls, help with collecting shopping or medicine or help with meals.
It is the generosity of members of our community that have made this work possible.
We rely on your continued support to keep us going. With your help, we will continue to provide vital humanitarian and support where we can. If you would like to support this work, please donate whatever you can. Donations of any amount can help bring much benefit to those in need during these exceptional times.
Please give whatever you can.
