DEATH & FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

MRS. KASTURBEN RAICHAND HIRJI SHAH

(28.12.1929 – 17.03.2016)

It is with deep regret that we announce the sad demise of Mrs. Kasturben Raichand Hirji Karamshi Shah (Gaam – Chela, Resident of London) on Thursday, 17th March 2016 in Nairobi.

Prathna Sabha on Tuesday 29th March 2016 from 8pm to 10pm at   Ekta Centre, Stag Lane.

She was Wife of Late Raichand Hirji Karamshi Shah (London, formally of Nairobi).

She was Daughter of Paniben and Nathoo Gosar Shah.

She was Sister-in-law of Ratilalbhai, Late Shantilalbhai, Late Motiben Popatlal, Late Kasturben Bhikhubhai, Late Jayaben Lakhamshi and Late Induben Keshavlal.

She was Mother of Hansa, Late Mahendra (Twiga), Chandri (Mombasa), Sarla, Jayendra (Baku Kenya Ltd), Pradip (UK), Kamini and Kalpesh.

She was Mother-in-law of Mahendra Velji (Prisco), Rekha Mahendra, Harish Lalchand (AVA Mombasa), Shantilal Harakhchand (Ngariama), Manjula, Jayshree and Paresh Jesang (Jamsons).

She was Sister of Amritlal (UK), Late Prabhulal, Shantilal, Late Mansukhlal (Mama), Lalji (UK) and Late Lilavanti Somchand (Vadaria).

She was Grandmother of Reshma-Sanjay (UK), Rishit-Sonal, Archana-Dharmesh, Meera-Rumit (UK), Panchali-Patrick (UK), Rakhee-Suleman (UK), Vishal-Jaina (UK), Mital-Sejal (UK), Rajvi, Bhaveen-Shreya, Urvi-Amar, Neel and Payal.

She was Great-grandmother of Sonali, Rupali, Dheer, Maya, Shiv, Siddharth, Dylan, Kian, Aisha, Umar, Mahi, Saarav and Rian.

Cortege will leave from Oshwal Centre, Ring Road on Friday, 18th March 2016 at 2:00pm and cremation will take place at the Hindu Smashan Bhumi, Kariokor at 2:30pm.

Prayer meeting will be held on Friday, 18th March 2016 at Oshwal Centre, Ring Road at 8:00pm.

Kasturben’s Cornea were donated to the Kanubhai Babla Lions National Eye Bank
