We are delighted to announce the launch of the UK initiative of Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) at Oshwal Centre. This is an initiative led by Institute of Jainology, UK and JITO, India
JITO is the single largest global organisation of Jain entrepreneurs, industrialists, business persons and professionals. It provides an excellent B2B networking platform across the Jain community.
The event will be held on Saturday, 4th June 2016 at Oshwal Centre, Coopers Lane Road, Northaw, Hertfordshire, EN6 4DG, with registrations starting at 4.30 pm.
At the launch event, you will have an opportunity to network with some extremely successful Jain business leaders from India and UK.

North Area Election
As you may be aware, North Area, were unable to elect a committee at their Area AGM. On Sunday 22nd May 3pm at Oshwal Centre, we have re-called elections to appoint a new Area committee. We are hopeful that a committee will be formed and we encourage members with a passion to take the community forward, to attend the AGM. Your nomination, your willingness to come forward and serve the Area could make all the difference.
We are pleased to announce that we have co-opted Rekhaben Mahesh Shah as a Trustee to the Executive Committee. She has been teaching Gujarati to our young Oshwals in our schools for some years. She also assisted Late Kusumben and Mradulaben in developing our Gujarati School Syllabus some years ago.
Finally, we have had our first Executive Committee Meeting and portfolios have been allocated and once these are approved, we will share more information with you all on our future work and ideas we wish to develop over the coming years to take the community forward.
